Why Ceramic Coating Makes Sense if You Live or Park in Koramangala or Ejipura

The Outer Ring Road widening work, ongoing Sarjapur Road corridor projects, and the constant road maintenance around the Ejipura signal and Sony World junction deposit a specific kind of fine particulate on parked cars: silica-rich concrete and road-cut dust that is mildly abrasive at microscopic scale. On its own, sitting on paint, it looks like a grey film. The actual damage happens during the next wash, when that dust is wiped across the paint surface with a sponge or even a microfibre cloth under pressure, it acts like fine sandpaper against the clear coat, producing the swirl marks that make paint look dull in raking light.

Ceramic coating gives this dust fewer places to stick, the slick, low-surface-energy layer means particulate slides off more readily with a rinse before the wash cloth ever touches the surface. It doesn't eliminate the risk, but a proper touchless pre-rinse on a coated car removes far more construction dust than the same rinse on bare paint, reducing the abrasive load at contact. Ceramic coating is not a physical film and it does not absorb impact.
